Wendy takes the time to consult with her patients on the latest and most beneficial methods of non-surgical cosmetic enhancements available, enabling them to make informed choices. “I want my patients to have the best possible outcomes based on their aesthetic desires, social constraints, and budget.We are all in different phases of life and it is my mission to help everyone feel as confident as they possibly can. Simply put, I help make one’s outer beauty match their inner beauty.”
Wendy prides herself in addressing the individual concerns of her patients. She has an array of talents and expertise that benefit both men and women. Wendy began her undergraduate studies at Portland State University with a B.S., in Biology. Her love for the human body, anatomy, and biochemical make-up has driven her passion in the aesthetic industry. She received her Nursing degree with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Breckinridge School of Nursing and was nominated into the Alpha Beta Kappa honor society. She entered into nursing with the intent to become an expert Aesthetic Nurse. She has attended countless advanced workshops in aesthetic medicine across the United States and intends to continue her aesthetic/cosmetic education on a continual basis.

Scott Jacobson, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Jacobson is a native of Santa Barbara, CA and received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology from UC Santa Barbara with Highest Honors.  He completed his M.D. degree at UCLA as a Regent’s Scholar and was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society his junior year. After graduation from UCLA, he completed six years of general, plastic, cardiothoracic, and orthopedic surgical training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Further specialty training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery was completed in Los Angeles, CA before he started his orthopedic surgery practice in Bend, OR in 1995. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and has been elected into the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.  He has authored numerous peer reviewed scientific publications and book chapters.  He developed a keen interest in aesthetic medicine as he has seen the rapid development of non-operative techniques for aesthetic enhancement.

Leah Umnitz, RN, BSN, MSN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner

Leah Umnitz is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through American Nurses Credentialing of Oregon. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland, and her Family Nurse Practitioner’s master’s degree at Gonzaga University.

​Leah owns Paulina Peak Family Healthcare, and has worked in several areas including Primary Care, Cosmetic Nursing, RN in surgical/medical, oncology, cardiology, bariatric and orthopedic specialties. Leah was also a Nurse in the United States Air Force where she served as a Captain.

Bre is proud to join the W Aesthetics and Wellness team. She has 7 years’ experience as a registered nurse in the Central Oregon medical community and has been certified in Aesthetics since 2014. She has lived in Bend for over 20 years and loves everything that the Central Oregon lifestyle offers. With a background in obstetrics and gynecology, she has continued her passion for women’s healthcare through aesthetics and wellness and is excited about the growing male aesthetic population. 

 “I was drawn to aesthetic nursing because I love being able to help people feel confident and beautiful. To me, it’s all about enhancing natural beauty. I pride myself in individualized care with a conservative approach to help my patients achieve their aesthetic goals.”
